Summertime in Chicago is hardly complete without the presence of a certain pastime: BRUNCH. Which could arguably be considered a food group in and of itself, amiright? By show of hands how many people reject such collective wisdom? Zero. Hopefully because your hands are busy feasting upon classic eggs benedict, buttermilk pancake flambé, shrimp and grits, and avocado toast. Besides, in what better city could we celebrate the freedom to day booze in over mimosas?
In the heart of the Gold Coast, specifically inside Restoration Hardware, lies a unique brunch spot that will satisfy your weekend desires to relax over coffee and mimosas, dine in a courtyard flooded with natural lighting, and revel over multiple levels of well appointed shopping galleries to peruse as you wait for seating. May I introduce to you, 3 Arts Club Cafe, an al fresco dining, foodie-lover's dream.
We began with the Smoked Salmon Board, which was a fantastic selection for a warm summer morning in the city. Both refreshing and light! Entrees included the famous RH Scramble for three of us, as well as my fiancé's pick of the RH Burger, which was also deemed a crowd pleaser.
Now let's discuss why people really pour into this establishment. Two words: THE VIEWS. The cafe is designed entirely of RH tables, light fixtures, and seating, which provides for an ambiance like no other! Please do yourself a favor and make 3 Arts Club Cafe a "must see" next time your travels lead you to Chicago!
